As we look at the first eight months of the year you start to reflect on how much we have done so far. Our board has been hard at work this year to make sure you are getting your money worth from this organization. And here is a list of programs you might not know that have been put into place so far.
* At our monthly meetings we have an education piece, new product piece, and we have a meal for all our members at the meeting
* Full paid membership for members that have been with our chapter for 20 years or more.
* Nice chef jackets for all board members paid by the chapter
* RARES cards - benefits for discounts on entertainment, theme parks, hotels and more.
* Membership to Greece NY Chamber of Commerce - will give chefs healthcare, eye care, and dental options
* Continuing education program for any member up to $500 only one stipulation is you have to do a demo at our meeting within that year of the program you have taken. (Must be board approved with letter of intent)
* Scholarship program for BOCES students we will give up to $500 a year to one student in each BOCES program( Will be nominated by BOCES instructor)
* Starting in September Chef and Child program reaching out to Rochester schools teaching kids good nutrition and food safety( working with Food link)
As you can see we have a great deal to offer and as we move forward we could add so much more.
