Greetings and Happy New Year! I hope you and your families enjoyed a wonderful holiday season. This year, Rochester ACF will come to the forefront as leaders in our industry as we have many dinners, brunches and fundraisers lined up for 2010.
The events begin with our annual joint dinner meeting with Rochester Chapter Restaurant Association, which will be hosted by Cherry Ridge Community Living Center on Monday, January 11, 2010. Vince McConeghy from Localfoodservice.com will be our guest speaker. Chefs de Cuisine are Kevin Toole, CEC and David Festenstein. The dinner is $25.00 per person, and reservations may be made by calling Kim Wightman at 585-678-4817 or emailing kwightman@monroecc.edu.
The next big dinner will be on Saturday, March 6, 2010 in Geneseo, NY. We are partnering with the Livingston County Red Cross for the 2nd Annual fundraiser. Chef James Campolieto, CC is the Chef de Cuisine, Chef Don Antinore, CEC, CCA, CCE, AAC will chair the event along with Chef Mike Vasile as Co-Chair. We are now actively looking for help with this event. Please contact me if you are interested in volunteering.
