I have one thing to say too everyone……TICKETS, TICKETS, TICKETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are closing in on July and we are getting close to our goal. I would love to exceed the expectation we set and not have to dip into our savings to pay for the bike. Keep selling tickets. Ask everyone you see. You may be surprised at who will say yes.
The golf invitations are out and I have begun getting responses back. It is filling up quickly. It would be great to have a full field this year and I think we may get close. We will be raffling away the bike at Blue Heron Hills on July 7 to wrap up our fist major events of this year. The next event we will be moving into will be the Chef of the Year dinner in honor of Chef Michael Redmond, CEC. It will be held at the party house on September 21st, 2003. This will become our full focus after the golf/bike is over. Chef John Venturo, Chef Judy Keltz, Chef Jan Streeter and I are the COTY committee and we will begin to put our plan of action in place for the event. Tickets will be ready for the August meeting so get ready to sell again!
Don't forget, we will not have a July meeting. It is very important that we have all of the members who took tickets to sell at he June meeting. It is imperative for our book keeping. Make sure you are at the party house on June 24 to turn in tickets, sold or not. We need them to know exactly where we stand on this thing.
