Happy New Year
Changes for the New Year

Hello everyone,

I hope you all are well, enjoyed your holidays and are having prosperity early on in this new year. We had the plenary meeting on 1/12/04 and have planned out events for this year, Back on the calendar is our golf outing, an amped up bike raffle, Alzheimer's dinner, COTY and more. We will continue meeting at THE Party House and have designated the Red Cross on Prince Street as our alternative meeting place.

We will be meeting there on the 27th of this month for our first meeting of the year. Chef Kevin Toole of Brooklea CC will be speaking to us on that night regarding the ordeal of the salmonella incident at that club. I am sure that we will all find this very interesting.

We will be trying something different this year for our chapter meetings. The start time will be 6:30pm. This earlier start is designed to get people home earlier. We will try it for a while and see how it works. If you can't be there right at 6:30, no worries, we probably will not start until 6:45 or so.

I would like to challenge all member this year to one thing...sign on a new member. As it stands now, we have 78 members, 10 of whom are retired, and about half of whom come to meetings. We need 22 new members to increase our number to an even 100, so let's do it! In closing, we will be doing an Hors de ouvre station for the Rochester Chapter of the NYSRA at the Crown Plaza on February 2nd and are looking for a little help. Please call me at 388-4144 if you are interested.
